UFC 103 presents American free-style fighter Rich “Ace” Franklin vs. the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu master Victor “The Phenom” Belfort. Former UFC Middleweight Champion Franklin will welcome the comeback on the octagon of the former light heavyweight champion Victor Belfort.Rich "Ace" Franklin has a Mixed Martial Arts record of 25 wins, 13 of those are by way of knockout and 9 submissions with 4 losses. This submission artist from Cincinnati, Ohio who’s said to learn submission fighting from instructional videotapes, stands at 6 feet and an inch and weighs 194 pounds. After winning via unanimous decision against Wanderlei Silva last June 13 on UFC 99, Franklin will be tested again with another Brazilian MMA artist. After having four straight wins on Cage Rage and Affliction, Belfort, the southpaw from Rio de Janeiro will starts his redemption on UFC. Going back, Belfort lost on his last UFC match against Tito Ortiz via split decision and before that against Randy Couture on UFC 49 on a technical knockout. Belfort has a current MMA record of 18 wins (12 KO’s and 2 submissions) and 8 losses. He is currently having his training under Xtreme Couture; still try to enhance his Gracie Jiu- Jitsu fighting style.
Another big fight on UFC 103 Live Stream on Pay-per-View will be the head-on collision between two heavyweight knockout artist Mirko "Croatian Cop" Cro Cop and Junior "Cigano" dos Santos. The Croatian kickboxing master is wanting his 2nd win after his winning come on UFC 99 against Mostapha Al-turk of UK. Cro Cop, which real name is Mirko Filipović stands at 6 foot, 2 inches with an MMA record of 25 wins, 6 losses and 2 draws. On the other hand, the Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu expert still wants to maintain his undefeated UFC record.
UFC 103 Live Stream will be aired live on pay-per-view on September 19, 2009 direct from America Airlines Center in Dallas.
